How much will it cost to clean?
It all depends on the size of the area in question and the type of surface to be cleaned, concrete areas and patio slabs are usually quicker and easier to clean than block paving, however every single job that we have completed has been different, we therefore prefer to visit every customer to ascertain their individual and precise requirements, where we can measure the area to enable us to provide you with an accurate free no obligation quote.
Purchasing the kiln dried sand, and returning to re-sand a block paved area is included in the price, sealing is additional work, and is charged according to the size of the area in question.
How long will it take to do the job?
It all depends on the size and type of surface area that requires cleaning, block paving is more time consuming as the old contaminated sand needs to be removed from between every single joint, our high pressure industrial floor surface cleaner is the perfect machine to complete this task, after cleaning a block paved area we will need to return on a dry day to re-sand the cleaned area, and seal the area if you choose this option. We are able clean an area of approximately 150 – 175 m2 per day.
Do I have to seal the block paving after cleaning and sanding?
It is not compulsory to seal the area after cleaning; however there are benefits from sealing.
What are the benefits of sealing block paving and patios?

How long will the sealing treatment last?
It all depends on local conditions and the product you choose to use, the acrylic sealant lasts 1-3 years between re-treatments and the pre-polymer urethane sealant should last between 3-5 years. A regular wash down of the treated area will help to prolong the condition and appearance. Do you use cleaning chemicals?
We do not use dangerous or harmful cleaning chemicals, but we do use safe environmentally friendly cleaning agents when necessary.
Can you make repairs to block paved areas?
Yes we are able to make repairs to drives that are damaged, we are also able to source and replace broken pavers.
Is this business a franchise?
No it is not, it is an independent family run business.

Do I need to prepare the area before you arrive to clean?
No preparation is required by the customer; however vehicles must be removed from the drive or the area that requires cleaning. We will move to safety any garden furniture, pots, ornaments etc. to enable a thorough clean of the entire area, and will return to situ on completion of job.
Do I need to provide electricity or a water supply for you?
Our commercial heavy duty pressure washer is run by Petrol so we do not require electricity, but we will need access to a water supply, preferably an outside tap, although we do have fittings that will enable us to connect to an internal tap if necessary.
Do you have insurance to use the equipment at my property?
Yes, we are covered by a Comprehensive Public Liability Insurance Policy.
Do I need to be at home for you to use your equipment?
No, you are not required to be at home for us to clean, although we will of course need to gain access to the area that needs to be cleaned.
Can I do this with my own Pressure Washer?
Many DIY pressure washers are not adequate or able to produce the very high pressure that is required to achieve the quality results that we are able to with our professional high pressure washing equipment.
Using many DIY pressure washing machines for long periods of time or used on large areas are prone to motor or pump failure, which will have to be repaired or replaced which will be very expensive. Therefore it may be more cost effective for you to use DriveJet Pressure Washing Services to clean it for you.
Using inferior quality pressure washing machines will take much longer to complete a job, and use more water than necessary and will therefore not be cost effective for you.
